Janelle Lindley is an impressionist painter specializing in vibrant, textural landscapes that reflect deep emotion and connection to nature. She holds both a Master’s in Art and a Bachelor’s in Art Education from Baylor University. Her work has been featured in juried shows across the country and has earned top honors, including Best of Show and First Place awards in Southlake, TX; Castle Rock, CO; and Ingram, TX.
With a lifelong passion for art, Janelle is captivated by the way natural scenes can echo human emotion. She intentionally “pushes” color and texture in her paintings to amplify this emotional resonance. In recent years, she has developed a unique technique she calls “Paper Paintings,” where she incorporates heavy texture into acrylic works using layered paper elements. These pieces include torn fragments of old letters, music sheets, maps, and stamped images—meticulously arranged like impressionist brush strokes. The result is a richly complex, multi-layered surface that invites viewers to engage up close.
Janelle’s innovative work and professional practice have earned her the designation of “Trusted Art Seller” by The Art Storefronts Organization, ensuring collectors can purchase her pieces with confidence in their quality and authenticity.
