Libbie Horton earned her BFA in Performance and Choreography from Texas State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During her time at Texas State, she was a member of Merge Dance Company and performed across the globe, including in London, Trinidad, Houston, Austin, New Braunfels, and College Station. Her choreographic work has been showcased at Austin Community College, Austin Dance Hub, and Arcadia Live.

Libbie has worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Jennifer Sherburn, Andy and Dionne Noble of NobleMotion Dance, and Katherine Duke, artistic director of the Erick Hawkins Dance Company. A proud native of the Texas Panhandle, Libby has lived throughout the Lone Star State. Influenced by the music of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Chris Knight, her choreographic voice leans into storytelling. She creates authentic, purposeful movement—favoring meaningful expression over arbitrary technique.
