Kerrville: A Community Transformed but Not Broken
On July 4, 2025, devastating floods struck our beloved Hill Country, taking precious lives and forever changing the landscape we call home. Though the loss is immeasurable, the strength of our community has shone through in the way we’ve cared for one another and embarked on the long road of recovery. And beneath all the debris lies something the floods could never wash away: the unbreakable spirit of Kerrville.
While we rebuild and recover, we invite visitors to travel with hope, supporting our community through meaningful tourism that honors those we’ve lost while helping us move forward together.

The Heart of Our Recovery: Kerrville Hope
Our community’s response exemplifies the unwavering belief that from the darkest tragedy can emerge the brightest light of human compassion. Organizations like Convoy of Hope have brought “a message of hope: You are not forgotten”, working alongside local partners to ensure relief supplies reach those who need them most.
In our churches and community centers, residents have found solace in the reminder that “there was always hope, even in the darkest times.” This hope isn’t naive optimism, it’s the deliberate choice to rebuild, to heal, and to welcome others into our journey of recovery.
