Opening May 2026, the Heart of the Hills Heritage Center is a new cultural destination in downtown Kerrville; celebrating the history and heritage of the Texas Hill Country. Housed in the beautifully restored A.C. and Myrta Schreiner home, the center offers an immersive experience that connects visitors to the region’s unique landscape, rich traditions, and compelling stories.
