The Texas Film Commission designated Kerrville, Texas as a Film Friendly community. The Film Friendly Texas program offers ongoing training and guidance on industry standards and best practices to help communities support film and TV productions. Certified Film Friendly Communities are equipped to connect local businesses with production needs, creating jobs for Texas-based crew members and residents. By hosting media productions, communities stimulate their local economies through spending on lodging, restaurants, location fees, construction supplies, and other services.
