The P2K Youth Theater will tackle the quirky comedy of Mel Brooks and Buck Henry’s iconic 1960’s television comedy with Get Smart – a hilarious spoof of secret agent thrillers.
This satirical comedy follows bumbling Secret Agent Maxwell Smart on his quest to stop the sinister underground organization known as KAOS from their evil plot: to prove their power by blowing up the Statue of Liberty!
As Smart springs—perhaps we should say stumbles—into action assisted by his more capable partner, Agent 99, and accompanied by a large cast of colorful characters, he proceeds from one gigantic blunder to another. But, despite his ineptitude, all his mistakes somehow turn into masterful strokes and their mission is accomplished!
