Hill Country Chorale Presents “Berlin, Gershwin, and Porter”

The Hill Country Chorale, in its 25th Season, presents a concert of music by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin on Saturday, April 25, at 4:00 p.m. Tucker Hall, 320 St. Peter Street (next door to the Cailloux Theater) will be the location for a concert of well-known pieces of these composers who shaped 20th Century American popular music. Their music for Broadway and film bridged popular music with jazz and included classical influences to bring to the audience such hits as “Just One of Those Things”, “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”, Someone to Watch Over Me”, “Blue Skies” and much more.
