Kerrville River Trail
Kerrville’s scenic River Trail is approximately 6 miles long, following the Guadalupe River and featuring nine trailheads. This 10-foot wide, cement trail is ideal for walking, jogging, running, biking and even roller-skating, however, motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trail. Parts of the trail are lined with trees and shaded, but be sure to bring water before you head out to explore the gem of Kerrville.
Kerrville Schreiner Park
Kerrville Schreiner Park is the largest park in Kerrville, spanning an impressive 517 acres along the Guadalupe River. The park features 14 miles of hiking and biking trails that vary in difficulty from easy to difficult. Currently, there are 10 designated trails in the park. Be sure to stop by the Park Office for the most up-to-date trail map. As you explore this beautiful park, take in the true essence of the Hill Country and keep an eye out for wildlife, including birds, armadillos, deer, fox and rabbits.

Louise Hays Park covers 64 acres along the Guadalupe River in downtown Kerrville and features a 2.4-mile trail that meanders through the park. Rated easy by alltrails.com, the trail follows the Guadalupe River and goes onto Tranquility Island, a 7-acre island surrounded by cypress trees.
