Kerrville Sports Complex Facilities
The Kerrville Sports Complex features four Little League baseball fields, two adult baseball fields, three girls’ softball fields, and two adult softball fields. Additionally, the complex includes 20 acres of youth and adult soccer fields, providing ample space for tournaments, practices, and recreational play.
D-BAT Kerrville
Adding to the excitement and opportunities for young athletes, Kerrville Sports Complex is also home to D-BAT Kerrville. D-BAT is billed as the premier baseball and softball training facility in the country. According to one of the owners of D-BAT, the Kerrville location is “the Taj Mahal” of D-BAT training facilities.
More Sports Venues
Kerrville offers a range of additional sports facilities for athletes and recreation enthusiasts. Louise Hays Park and Carver Park both feature basketball courts, open green spaces, and trails ideal for jogging or casual play. Olympic Pool provides a public swimming venue during the summer, while the indoor Doyle Community Center hosts fitness classes, basketball, and community events year-round. Tennis players can enjoy lighted courts at Singing Wind Park, and golfers have access to the scenic Scott Schreiner Golf Course. HEB Municipal Tennis Center
The HEB Municipal Tennis Center is part of the City of Kerrville’s Parks & Recreation Department and features 14 lighted courts and one practice wall. The Pro Shop offers racket stringing, private and semi-private lessons, and availability of demo rental rackets.
Municipal Olympic Pool
The Municipal Olympic Pool facility has an Olympic-size 50M X 20Y six-lane pool and a small baby pool. Amenities include a 1-meter low dive and a 3-meter high dive and a pavilion, and picnic areas. (Kerrville Olympic Pool – Temporarily Closed for Renovations)
Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course
Scott Schreiner Golf Course is Par 70 and offers a variety of challenges for the average golfer. The golf course has recently undergone a series of improvements to enhance both playability and the overall golfer experience. The renovations included a complete rebuilding of the greens, upgraded sand bunkers with better shaping and drainage, and improvements to cart paths and bridges for smoother access throughout the course. Facilities were upgraded with refurbished restrooms, a new “Green Flush” unit on the back nine, improved drainage, and updated netting to enhance safety and overall course quality.
Kroc Center
Nestled on a 16-acre campus, the 48,000 square facility includes a fitness center, gymnasium, café, dance/exercise studio, classrooms, dining hall, child watch, teen lounge, arts & crafts room, and chapel. The 16,000 square foot outdoor pool deck boasts two warm water pools, a water slide, splash park, rock wall and shade structures.
Hill Country Shooting Sports Center
Once an official United States Olympic Training Site for the U.S. Olympic and National Shooting Teams, Hill Country Shooting Sports Center delivers a premier environment that elevates athlete performance, hosts world-class competitions, and inspires the next generation of shooters. With International and American Trap and Skeet, Sporting Clays tournaments, 5 Stand, rifle and pistol ranges, plus a welcoming clubhouse and pro shop, it’s a destination for excellence in shooting sports.
